Five black stars.

A small business with a quiet and relaxing environment.

Prices were decent, the staff were friendly, and the food/coffee was pretty pleasing.

Parking is somewhat difficult but is free.

Bagged coffee along with books and other items are available for purchase in the store.

We stopped in here in the morning after staying at the Benton Motel overnight. This was a very friendly, homey small town restaurant. The wait staff was kind and seemed to know many of the customers. It was like going to your friend or families house as opposed to a restaurant.

As far as the food, my wife loved her coffee. She said her breakfast was the best meal we had on our 4 day trip. She had an omelette in a spinach wrap. I had a ham, cheese and egg croissant sandwich. It always was very delicious. We got a frosted cookie and chocolate brownie for the road. A must stop if you are going to or by Benton, Illinois.

Fast, friendly service. They have a large selection to choose from. Something for everyone. The Lobster Bisque in a bread bowl  was delicious. Definitely looking forward to coming back.

I most definitely will be back to try their lunch menu soon!

They also sell a variety of teas to make at home!

I was driving across the country and stopped here for an iced Americano and a breakfast sandwich.  Super cute place with great service and good coffee. I travel a lot and finding and supporting locally owned coffee shops is my jam. Keep it up Buzz Cafe!

Baked goods are awesome. The staff is super nice. If you want to do a little art shopping they have local artists work for sell. Great little place to stop!

The Buzz Café is an absolute gem! The food was incredible – we tried the burrito, croissant breakfast sandwiches, cinnamon roll, and cheese Danish, and everything was fresh and packed with flavor. The vibe of the café is perfect – cozy, welcoming, and just the right atmosphere to relax and enjoy a good meal. On top of that, the staff was unbelievably friendly, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Had a delicious lunch here, salmon salad. Salmon was fresh and delicious and serve by a courteous staff. High behind the counter there are two levels of coffee cups that people bring them from all across the world. Each one of them has a little note on the bottom of it and its origin is pinpointed on a map. It's a nice touch of cozy ambiance.
